Introduction

Hi everyone! I'm Shelly, and this is my blog. I've been told for some time now, that I needed one, but I've been dragging my feet, (Yeah Janna, you can jump up and down now. You won.)

Anyway, I am a Sophmore Vocal Music Performance major, (ie., I sing). I'm in love with Opera, but I also enjoy some Broadway/Musical Theater. I'm hoping to transfer to a University next year, assuming I get lots of money. I've been studying voice with the most awesome teacher ever, Darlene Marks, for nearly four years, and have gotten the opportunity to play some really amazing rolls, not to mention I gave my very first solo recital last month! I had so much fun!!!

I work as a Personal Assistant to a Mary Kay Cosmetics Director. Been there for 11 years this summer, (since I was 13). Love it, Love it!!! What girl doesn't dream of playing with makeup all day?!

I'm also a part-time waitress for IHOP...hate it! I really can't stand the human race sometimes!! I do however, work with some really fun people, so they kinda make up for the grumpy customer aspect. There's Lisa, my way too fun manager, Ryan who gives the absolute best shoulder massages, Queen Mary who hates Fernando, my "fiance" with a passion, (she sayes we'd have monster children), and a whole bunch of fun, and not so fun people.
